By Plane

  • Tweed New Haven Regional Airport Served by US Airways.
  • Bradley International Airport in Windsor Locks (near Hartford), from which I-91 leads straight to New Haven, is a much larger airport with flights to cities throughout the Eastern half of the United States and Canada. It is about an hour away by car. CT Limo offers shuttle service to New Haven.
  • LaGuardia Airport is a major airport in NYC. It has flights to cities throughout the Eastern United States and Canada. It is about 1 1/2 hours away by car. CT Limo offers airport shuttle service to New Haven, or you can take the bus to Harlem – 125th St Station in New York and then take a Metro North train to New Haven Union Station.
  • John F. Kennedy International Airport, in Queens, NYC, is a major international airport. CT Limo offers airport shuttle service to New Haven, or you can take the subway to Grand Central Terminal in New York and then a Metro North train to New Haven Union Station.
  • Newark Liberty International Airport, in northern New Jersey, is also a major international airport. Take the Amtrak train that goes straight to New Haven Union Station, or a Metro North train from Grand Central Terminal (take the NJ Transit to Penn Station, and then the subway to Grand Central). CT Limo also offers airport shuttle service from Newark, but it is considerably more expensive.

By Train

  • Metro North Railroad provides service between New Haven, New York and intermediate points.
  • Amtrak provides direct service from Virginia to Boston and intermediate points (including all major cities on the Northeast Corridor). Amtrak also provides direct service between St. Albans, Vt. and New Haven and intermediate points (including to and from Springfield, Mass. and Hartford, Conn.)
