Corby Kummer is a widely acclaimed food journalist who writes for The Atlantic. Kummer’s previous work includes an article series on coffee and books, The Joy of Coffee, heralded by The New York Times as “the most definitive and engagingly written book on the subject to date.” Kummer also wrote the, The Pleasure of Slow Food, which celebrates local artisans who raise and prepare the foods of their regions. Previously, Kummer was a restaurant critic of New York Magazine and Boston Magazine. He is the recipient of five James Beard Journalism Awards, including the MFK Fisher Distinguished Writing Award, and graduate of Yale College.
